HUMAN ACCESS in Lahj Governorate distributed basic food items consisting of “flour, oil, and lentils” for the benefit of 9,837 refugees in Kharaz refugee camp, with funding from the World Food Program (WFP), through the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
These are vital aids in preventing famine and helping to achieve food security for the most vulnerable refugees. They are also urgently needed, especially with the food crisis in Yemen, where the cost of basic foods has become high, forcing vulnerable families, including refugees, to adopt harsh strategies to reduce food consumption in order to survive.
