Khabar Khair (Only Good News) Souad Ali

The deterioration of the general situation in Yemen affects all service sectors, including the health sector, as Yemen is classified as a high-risk area, which causes the spread of epidemics and diseases As part of the continuous efforts of the World Health Organization to save the health situation and improve the emergency response by health personnel, the World Health Organization, with the support of the European Commission for Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid, is conducting 6 training training as part of efforts to build the capacity of health workers in high-risk areas in Yemen. The training will be implemented between May 23 and June 30, 2021, targeting 120 paramedics from the governorates of Ibb, Taiz, Al Bayda, Hajjah, Hodeidah and Saada. The training sessions are not only for knowledge exchange but also go further towards training participants to take initiative and engage in work improvement actions in the health services sector. Training to improve work in the health sector and achieve emergency response is in line with the local context and health services. Such training is considered preparation for the emergency response to the affected areas and the humanitarian crises arising in the first place from the resulting population displacement due to the situation.
