In an initiative aimed at encouraging women to establish their own businesses, the Small and Micro Enterprises Promotion Service (SMEPS) has distributed 25 grants to support mobile phone repair projects to women from the districts of Ras Al-Ara, Al-Madharibah, and Tuban in Lahj Governorate, following their completion of intensive training.
This effort is part of the vocational training and business skills development project implemented by SMEPS in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Yemen and funded by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief).
