  • Distribution of Food and Shelter Aid to Rain and Flood-Affected People in Hadhramout Governorate

Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief)، in cooperation with the Benevolence Coalition for Humanitarian Relief (BCHR)، distributed food and shelter aid to those affected by the torrents and floods in a number of districts of Hadhramout Governorate.

Hadhramout Governorate’s Undersecretary for Technical Affairs، Engineer Amin Barzeq، praised the relief aid provided by KSRelief through the local partner، BCHR. He also said that this initial aid will help provide relief to the most affected families in the rural areas of Mukalla، Ghail Bawazir، Hajar، Sah، Al-Sum، and Tarim districts.

BCHR’s Executive Director، Engineer Fahmi bin Mansour، stated that these interventions are in response to the distress calls of those affected. He indicated that 276 tents، 1،000 shelter bags، and 1،160 food baskets were distributed in the affected districts. The aid was distributed in the presence of the follow-up coordinator at KSrelief’s coordination unit in Hadramaut، Osama Belsoud، and BCHR’s programs and projects director، Engineer Saleh Bamkhashab.
