Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation, Engineer Abdul Malik Naji and the Director of Lahj Agriculture Office inaugurated the distribution of improved and enhanced sorghum seeds within the “Project to Strengthen Rural Resilience” which targets 1,200 farmers in Tuban District.
The project is funded by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and the European Union, and implemented by the Assistance for Response and Development. The project aims to develop and improve various agricultural products and create improved, high-quality crops that benefit farmers.
In turn, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture praised the efforts of the Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation, Major General Salem Abdullah Al-Soqatri, and the FAO, which had a significant impact on the development of agricultural crops and supported them with agricultural production inputs from improved seeds in the districts targeted by the project.
