Within the Emergency Food Security and Early Recovery (EFSER) project in Amran Governorate, supported and funded by the Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe (DK) and Caritas Germany and implemented by the Young Leadership Development Foundation (YLDF), agricultural inputs were distributed to small farmers in Raydah and Jabal Eyal Yazid Districts in Yemen’s Amran Governorate.

116 manual plows, 47 livestock, 59 water transportation networks, 6 seeds, and 3 drip irrigation networks were distributed in the presence of Dr. Faisal Ja’aman, the governor of Amran Governorate, along with the director of the branch of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Himyar Al-Sa’ar, and a number of local officials.

These inputs will help small farmers increase their agricultural productivity and improve their food security and livelihoods.
