Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

The Director General of Dar Saad District, Mr. Abboud Naji Hussein, and the Director of the “Aid Organization” project, Eng. Khaldoun Zaid Al-Kahali, recently convened to discuss the plan of activities for the “SIERY” project. The project aims to strengthen institutional and economic resilience in the Dar Saad district, with funding from the European Union and implementation by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). The esteemed meeting also involved the partnership of the “Yemen Aid” organization.
At the onset of the discussion, the Director General commended the ongoing efforts of Aid in various developmental areas. He specifically highlighted their responsiveness and humanitarian interventions, which encompass infrastructure development, enhancement of vital and service facilities, and the overall advancement of the country. Eng. Khaldoun Zaid Al-Kahali, the project manager, provided a comprehensive overview of the forthcoming activities of the “SIERY” project for the year 2023.
Significantly, a number of donor-approved projects from last year are slated for implementation in this year’s period. Notable among them are: the provision of medical equipment and furniture for the Al-Salam Health Center in Allohom Eastern Neighborhood of Dar Saad, the installation of solar energy systems in 14 schools within the district and the Community College, and the supply of two new sewage pumps to address sewer-related issues at the pumping station in Al-Wahsh Neighborhood (Al-Gharbia Area).
