With funding from the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV), HUMAN ACCESS implemented the Bani Hammad Water Well Project in Al-Mawasit district of Taiz Governorate, to secure the needs of drinking water and personal use for more than five thousand people in several villages and areas that face the difficulty in obtaining water.

The Bani Hammad water well project included drilling an artesian well, installing an integrated pumping unit, and connecting an 800-meter pumping line to improve water supply to residents, as part of ongoing efforts to supply sustainable water sources, meet the needs of the local community, and alleviate people’s suffering due to events in Yemen.
