Source: Saudi Press Agency (SPA)

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) and the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) have launched a new phase of the voluntary medical program at Prince Mohammed bin Salman Hospital, commonly known as Aden Hospital, in Aden Governorate through medical teams and competencies from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The new phase of the program, an extension of the voluntary medical program that initiated its projects in April, encompasses the pediatric cardiac surgery, catheterization, and ear, nose, and throat specialties. The program is dedicated to reducing the humanitarian need in all Yemeni governorates by providing services in a variety of specialties, including neurosurgery, plastic surgery, burns, and deformities.

The total number of medical visits to the hospital exceeded 1.5 million from January 2023 to August 2024. The facility spans over 20,000 square meters with 270 beds, 14 specialty clinics, and a heart center, all of which are equipped with state-of-the-art medical devices and equipment.
