  • KSrelief Continues Noor Saudi Arabia’s Voluntary Program to Combat Blindness in Hadramawt, Yemen

Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), continues to implement the voluntary program Noor Saudi Arabia to combat blindness and its causes in the Mukalla district in Hadramawt, Yemen. The project is being carried out from 4 to 30 May 2024, with the participation of 8 volunteers from various medical specialties.

Since the start of the campaign, the volunteer medical team has performed 21 surgical operations to remove cataracts (glaucoma), conducted 226 surgical operations to remove cataracts (white water), performed 19 surgical operations in the eye clinic, and carried out 55 minor surgical operations, all of which were successful.

The project is part of the humanitarian and relief efforts implemented by KSrelief, Saudi Arabia’s helping hand to the world, to support the medical sector and assist individuals and families with limited income around the world.
