  • Vocational Training Program for 21 Veterinary Workers Launched in Al-Mahrah Governorate

Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) launched a vocational training program for 21 veterinary workers in veterinary clinics in Al-Mahrah Governorate.

This training program is part of the Vocational and Business Skills Training and Support Project, implemented by the local partner “the Small and Micro Enterprise Promotion Services (SMEPS)” and generously funded by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSRelief).

Mr. Ali Al-Mutairi, KSRelief’s Assistant Director, and Mr. Salem Al-Saqqaf, Relief Coordinator at KSRelief office in Al-Mahrah, alongside Mr. Salem bin Hammoud, the Deputy Director of the Agriculture Office of Al-Mahrah Governorate, and Mr. Ayoub Al-Atour, Director of Agriculture in Al-Ghaydah District, participated during the training sessions to engage with trainees and monitor progress.

The program aims to empower communities in Yemen.
