USAID supports Yemen’s health workers to meet the needs of their communities. USAID launched an electronic system in Aden, Lahj, and Taiz to improve health data management and support Yemen’s healthcare providers in health units and hospitals.

The USAID-funded DHIS2 system helps health workers save time and efforts in preparing monthly reports, facilitates data analysis and evaluation, and improves data access. Health and Resiliency Project has trained 72 health workers and health experts in Al-Mawasit District, Taiz Governorate, on the electronic health system (DHIS2). Pilot-testing the digital platform shows that it can improve data management, data quality, and data for timely decision-making, even in a health system in crisis.
