Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

Local Water and Sanitation Corporation in Aden Governorate (LWSCA) has announced the operation of three water wells, entering them into service in the field of Bir Nasir. This comes after the completion of the rehabilitation project for wells 5, 34, and 49 in Bir Nasir, funded by the US Agency for International Development and implemented by the international organization CARE.
The General Manager of LWSCA, Engineer Muhammad Bakhubaira, and the Director of Water and Environmental Sanitation Department at CARE, Engineer Hani Bafqih, visited the Bir Nasir water field to inspect the project’s progress and operation.
They emphasized its importance in enhancing the production capacity of the Bir Nasir water field, increasing water supply to beneficiary areas, and delivering water services to citizens.
It is worth mentioning that the project includes the supply and installation of water pumps, well pipes, electrical control panels, an electrical transformer from 11,000 volts to 400 volts, and connecting well water lines to the field’s water network and power lines.
