Qatar Charity has signed an agreement with the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in Yemen to implement a project aimed at improving access to education services and reducing school dropout rates in the central Yemeni governorate of Ibb.
The project targets approximately 3,000 male and female students from displaced persons and residents of the area with long-term educational opportunities and provides support to five schools in the districts of Al-Udayn branch to ensure that students have access to permanent and safe learning opportunities.
According to the charity’s statement on the X platform, “The aim of this agreement is to rehabilitate schools that have been damaged due to conflict, provide all necessary facilities, in addition to providing school supplies for students and financial incentives for teachers.
