Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

Funded by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief), the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), in collaboration with the Benevolence Coalition for Humanitarian Relief (BCHR), has successfully carried out the distribution of school furniture, office supplies, and school bags in three girls’ schools in the Socotra Governorate, located in the southern region of the country, as part of the “Project for the Inclusion of Girls Who Have Dropped Out of School.”
This project includes the provision of school furniture for three schools in Socotra and school bags for 1656 students. It is noteworthy that the project aims to support 7 Yemeni governorates by providing furniture to 21 schools, distributing school bags to 19,000 students, implementing training programs and activities for 350 teachers, constructing 64 classrooms, conducting awareness campaigns to encourage girls’ enrollment in education, and offering support to the families of orphaned girls.
