Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

The Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) has announced the launch of a new project, costing over two million dollars, to provide emergency health and nutrition assistance, as well as shelter solutions for displaced and returning individuals, and the most vulnerable host communities in the Al-Hodeidah Governorate, west of Yemen.
In a press statement, QRCS said, “The new project, launched in collaboration with the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), aims to meet the basic needs of 109,284 displaced persons and host communities in several of the most affected and in-need directorates in Al-Hodeidah.”
The statement added, “The estimated cost of the multi-sectoral project is $2,066,805, funded by the Yemen Humanitarian Fund under OCHA, and includes the implementation of emergency interventions and sustainable solutions in three sectors”.
