The Coalition of Good for Humanitarian Relief organized a training workshop in the city of Ma’rib for the entities that have been awarded tenders for Strengthening Institutional and Economic Resilience in Yemen (SIERY) project, implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) through its partner, the Benevolence Coalition for Humanitarian Relief (BCHR), and funded by the European Union (UN), in coordination with the Ministry of Local Administration and local authorities.
The project includes the establishment of a technical and vocational training institute, as well as a workshop for practical application attached to the institute. Additionally, a centralized maintenance unit will be created for the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund in the governorate, based on the priorities of the local authority’s plans for the year 2022. This will be funded through the Local Resilience and Recovery Fund, which is one of the components of the SIERY project. The participants in the workshop were familiarized with the approved specifications for the work in the central workshop and the technical and vocational institute, as well as the work schedule.
