The “Education Enrollment Project” activities for girls who have dropped out of school in Yemeni governorates of Al-Dhalea, Abyan, and Wadi Hadhramout were launched by the Benevolence Coalition for Humanitarian Relief (BCHR), with funding from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSRelief) and implementation by ISESCO.
The project aimed to benefit 21 schools across seven governorates by providing them with essential furniture and office equipment. Additionally, 64 alternative classrooms were established, and school bags were distributed to 19,000 female students. The initiative also included comprehensive training programs and workshops for 350 teachers, as well as professional support for the heads of families of orphan girls. Moreover, awareness campaigns were conducted to motivate and encourage girls to enroll in education.
