Khabar Khair (Only Good News)
A team from UNHCR visited the IDPs Community Center of the HUMAN ACCESS in Marib governorate.
During the visit, the team was briefed on the Center’s work, and the several major protection activities provided to the most vulnerable IDP groups and the host community. The team visited the Center’s departments and the Child Friendly Space in As-Suwayda camp, and learned about the most important activities and programs aimed at improving and developing the child’s capabilities.
The team also discussed with the Center’s staff the progress of the Center’s work, the obstacles it faces, the size of the humanitarian gap between the services provided to the Centre and its actual need, and the challenges resulting from the difficult humanitarian situation of the displaced and the host community in Marib that includes more than 60% of the IDPs in Yemen.
At the end of the visit, the team commended the efforts made by the Center and the Child Friendly Space.
