Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

In cooperation with the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Works, the Emirates Red Crescent Authority distributed food aid, clothes and blankets to the people of the city of Hadibu in Socotra Archipelago.

The project targeted 858 families to alleviate their suffering and provide them with food and winter clothing needs. The students of Socotra Archipelago University and Socotra Archipelago Technical Institute participated actively in the initiative as a part of the community volunteer participation.

The citizens appreciated the provided humanitarian support and the exerted efforts by the United Arab Emirates to Socotra Archipelago in various service and development fields. They stressed the importance of the role of Emirati relief projects.
