Building Foundation for Development – BFD is keen on the tight implementation of water management and the high efficiency of irrigation systems (drip irrigation systems and improved transportation systems), which in turn enhances the food production capabilities of vulnerable families.    In addition to partnership with FAO, to distribute drip irrigation systems and improved transportation systems to 150 beneficiaries in Haifan District, Taiz Governorate. 

This, in turn, will improve irrigation efficiency and crop-breeding practices at critical water basin levels, which will conserve water resources and improve nutrient management strategies and crop production while preserving natural resources.

Funded by Japan, and within the Agricultural Emergency Project to support the livelihoods of families suffering from food insecurity in Yemen.
