  • Yemen Aid Boosts Agriculture in Taiz with Greenhouse Project

In an effort to enhance food security and bolster the incomes of local farmers, Yemen Aid has successfully implemented a comprehensive agricultural support project in Al-Ma’afer District of Taiz Governorate. The initiative focused on:

•       Greenhouse Installation: The organization distributed and installed 70 greenhouses, providing farmers with the means to cultivate crops more effectively, regardless of external weather conditions.

•       Farmer Training: A training program was conducted for 70 farmers, equipping them with modern farming techniques aimed at increasing agricultural productivity and efficiency.

•       Seedling Distribution: To promote crop diversity and move towards food self-sufficiency, Yemen Aid distributed 17,080 agricultural seedlings to the farmers.

This project marks a step forward in creating a resilient agricultural sector in Yemen, contributing to both immediate food security and long-term economic sustainability.
