Aden, Yemen – On Saturday, the Life Organization for Relief and Development inaugurated a project to distribute orphan sponsorships and school bags to 125 orphans in Aden governorate, as part of its humanitarian efforts to support the most vulnerable groups.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, Saleh Mahmoud, emphasized the importance of the project in providing necessary support to orphan children, particularly in education and meeting their basic needs, which contributes to enabling them to build a better future. He highlighted the importance of enhancing the partnership between the government and humanitarian organizations to provide essential services to the needy groups.
On his part, Jafar Saleh Qasim, the head of the orphans sector at Life Organization, explained that this project aims to alleviate the financial burden on the families of orphans and to encourage children to continue their educational journey. He confirmed that this project is part of a series of activities and initiatives implemented by the organization with the goal of improving the conditions of orphans in Yemen.
