In a step aimed at alleviating the suffering of residents in rural areas, Abyan Governorate, in the presence of a delegation from the Kuwait Red Crescent Society, inaugurated on Monday a vital water project in the Amagil area of Lawdar District.

This project will benefit 24 villages with a total population of 25,000 people. The project includes a well equipped with a solar energy system and pressure lines, ensuring the sustainability and continuity of water supply to the residents.

The Governor of Abyan Governorate, Major General Abu Bakr Hussein Salem, praised the support of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society for this vital project, stressing the importance of collaborative efforts to provide water to residents of remote areas.
