Shabwa, Yemen – On Sunday, the city of Ataq witnessed the inauguration of a new expansion for the dialysis center. The project, funded by a philanthropist, cost over $300,000.

The expansion included the addition of a second floor to the building, equipped with an electric elevator. Furthermore, seven new dialysis machines and their accompanying beds were provided.

This expansion is expected to serve an additional 103 patients and increase the center’s capacity to 950 dialysis sessions per month.

The Governor of Shabwah, Awad Ibn Al-Wazir, praised the opening of the expansion, stressing the importance of supporting specialized centers and developing medical services provided to patients.
