Zabeed, Hodeidah: To enhance milk quality and boost the livelihoods of livestock breeders, 198 individuals in Zabeed, Hodeidah, recently completed a comprehensive training program. The initiative, implemented by SMEPS (Small and Micro Enterprise Promotion Service) in partnership with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and funded by the World Bank, focused on crucial aspects of dairy production and business management.

Participants received training in milk quality control, dairy product processing, and personal hygiene, ensuring a higher standard of production. Additionally, the program equipped breeders with essential skills in cattle feeding, financial management, and business administration, empowering them to increase their income and contribute to the local economy. This training falls under the umbrella of the Emergency Social Protection Enhancement (ESPECRP) project, highlighting the collaborative effort to support sustainable development in Yemen.
