HUMAN ACCESS in Al-Mahrah Governorate provided economic empowerment toolkits to 24 women who received vocational training in sewing and pastry making in Al-Ghaydah city during the first half of this year. Under the supervision of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor (MOSAL) office in the governorate, they received comprehensive supplies to practice their profession and enter the labor market.

It is part of the protection and livelihood support project “Safe Space for Women and Girls”, which is funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief).

The goal of this project is to provide vulnerable Yemeni families with a continuous source of income as an effective solution to daily difficulties to enhance their resilience amidst the increasing humanitarian needs and challenges.
