  • With Saudi support, the distribution of vocational tools and economic empowerment to orphans in Wadi Hadhramout.

On Wednesday, the Assistant Deputy Governor of Hadramout for the Valley and Desert Districts Affairs Abdulhadi al-Tamimi, launched the process of distributing vocational tools and economic empowerment to 24 families, benefiting a total of 74 orphans in Wadi Hadramout. This initiative is part of the orphan sponsorship project funded by the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid and implemented by the Yamani Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Works.

During the distribution, the Assistant Deputy Governor expressed gratitude to the local authorities, the King Salman Center, and their partner, the Yamani Foundation, for their qualitative interventions and generous support in various fields, as well as their interest, care, and rehabilitation of orphans and their economic empowerment through these projects.

Mukhtar Bama’abad, the Director of the Yamani Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Work in Hadramout, emphasized that the year-long project aims to provide vocational training for orphans in professional fields such as mobile phone repair, electrical installations, sewing, hairdressing, and creating sustainable employment opportunities. Additionally, the project trains them in small business management.
