Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

On Tuesday, a joint delegation from United Nations organizations visited Al-Sadaqa General Teaching Hospital in Aden to assess the nutritional status in Yemen.

During the visit, the delegation visited the departments of malnutrition, where the doctors and medical staff explained the situation in detail. A number of issues related to the visit were also discussed.

The delegation consisted of Dr. Rashaa Al-Ardhi, Deputy Global Nutrition Cluster Coordinator at, Dr. Latifa Abbas, Nutrition Program Officer at WHO, Mr. Henry Spliba, Nutrition Cluster Coordinator at UNICEF, Dr. Wael Al-Hajj, Nutrition Coordinator at UNICEF, Shaimaa Mansour, Nutrition Officer at WFP, and Shahad Hashem, Data Management Officer at WFP.

At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation expressed its happiness at the great progress they have noticed in the work and organization of the hospital departments.
