In a significant step towards improving water accessibility in Yemen, UNICEF has bolstered local water infrastructure in Aden by delivering 30 submersible pumps to three key water well fields. This initiative, announced on Tuesday, aims to secure a steady supply of clean water for the residents of Aden, addressing one of the critical needs in the region amidst ongoing challenges.

The provision of these pumps reflects UNICEF’s ongoing commitment to enhancing water systems across Yemen, ensuring that communities have access to this essential resource. This support is vital for daily life, health, and hygiene, particularly in areas where water scarcity has been exacerbated by conflict and economic strain.
