Yemen’s agricultural communities rely heavily on rainwater irrigation. However, with the challenges of Climate Change, these vital rainy seasons are becoming more unpredictable.

UNDP’s Food Security Response and Resilience Project, with generous funding from World Bank Middle East & North Africa, is working alongside local partners, Social Fund for Development (SFD) and Public Work Project (PWP) to enhance Yemeni farmers’ resilience and improve Food Security through the restoration & expansion of critical community agricultural infrastructure.

The project aims to empower farmers to make the most of the rainy seasons and improve their livelihoods.
