Taiz, Yemen – As part of their efforts to support vocational education and training in Yemen, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the European Union (EU) in Yemen have collaborated to support the rehabilitation and equipping of the auto repair workshop at the Technical and Industrial Institute in Taiz Governorate.

The “SIERY” project, implemented by UNDP, aims to empower youth by improving access to vocational education and training opportunities. The rehabilitation of the auto repair workshop at the Technical and Industrial Institute will significantly contribute to improving the quality of practical training for students and equipping them with the necessary skills for the job market.

This support comes within the framework of the ongoing efforts made by UNDP and the EU to support the Yemeni people in various fields, especially in the field of vocational education and training, which is considered a cornerstone of economic and social development.
