Marib, Yemen – The Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen laid the foundation stone for a series of development projects aimed at improving the educational, health, and water infrastructure. These projects include the establishment and equipping of a medical college, the construction of an educational complex for girls, in addition to projects aimed at enhancing water sources in the region.

These initiatives aim to enhance the efficiency of general and higher education, providing an appropriate educational environment that helps students to effectively contribute to the development of their community and achieve scientific progress. Furthermore, these projects work towards supporting general education, vocational training, and achieving human development by providing high-quality health services through the qualification of medical staff.

The announced projects come as an extension of previous efforts where the Saudi program previously offered projects like road expansion and rehabilitation, enhancing health services, supporting medical emergencies, in addition to educational, sports, and environmental initiatives aimed at improving living conditions and basic services in Marib Governorate.
