As part of the project “Provision of Life-Saving Emergency Support Across Multiple Sectors (Camp Coordination and Camp Management – Protection – Shelter) for the Most Vulnerable IDPs and Host Communities in Kushar District, Hajjah Governorate,” generously funded by the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF), water projects have been rehabilitated in the locations of Al-Mudbar, Al-Hazah Al-Ulya, Al-Malaab, and Kudaish in Kushar District, Hajjah Governorate.

YGUSSWP successfully constructed an 18-cubic-meter storage tank and rehabilitated the water source, installing a solar-powered pumping unit along with pipelines and a distribution network to five water points, at a total cost of $40,229.

More than 2,000 beneficiaries in the IDP sites of Al-Mudbar, Al-Hazah Al-Ulya, Al-Malaab, and Kudaish will benefit from this project, which is one of the sustainable service projects that contribute to providing safe and clean drinking water for hundreds of deprived families.
