  • Prosthetics Center in Marib Provides Services to 521 Beneficiaries with Support from King Salman Relief Center

The Artificial Limbs and Rehabilitation Center project in Marib Governorate provided various medical services to 521 beneficiaries from the Yemeni people who lost limbs during July 2024, with support from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center.

During the project, 1,672 services were provided, with males accounting for 67% and females 33% of the beneficiaries. Displaced people constituted 84% and residents 16% of the total beneficiaries. The services provided included prosthetic fitting and rehabilitation, physiotherapy, and specialized consultations.

This comes as an extension of the humanitarian projects provided by the Kingdom, represented by the Center, to enhance the capabilities of the health sector and alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
