Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

The Direct Aid Society in collaboration with the country of Kuwait launched a project to dig 10 artesian wells with a depth of 360 meters, with the supply of pumping units in the directorate of Bir Ahmed in Aden Governorate.
The representative of the Society at the main center in Kuwait, Mohammed Abdulaziz, pointed out that the inauguration of the digging of 10 artesian wells in Bir Ahmed in Aden Governorate at a cost of $1,500,000 aims to cover the needs of the city of Aden for drinking water.
The Deputy Governor of Aden for the Projects Sector, Engineer Ghassan Al-Zamki, emphasized the importance of launching such projects that contribute to stabilizing the water supply situation in the governorate. He praised the efforts of the Society and its contributions to financing and implementing these projects.
On his part, the Deputy Director-General of the Local Water and Sanitation Corporation in Aden, Engineer Bilal Al-Sha’abi, explained that the project will ensure the continuity of the water field for a longer period and cover the needs of the directorates of Aden Governorate for water.
