Deputy Director of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) branch in Al-Mahrah Governorate, Mr. Ali Al-Mutairi, reviewed the activities of the Orphans Sponsorship and Economic Empowerment Project (Phase II) and the progress of the work being carried out by the Yemani Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Work in the governorate.
Al-Mutairi praised the efforts of the foundation and their adherence to humanitarian standards and criteria for selecting families.
According to Mr. Hafiz Al-Nahari, the project coordinator in Al-Mahrah, the project targets orphans who suffer from difficult living conditions, especially in light of the current circumstances and the loss of the breadwinner.
Mr. Salem Al-Saqaf, the relief coordinator at KSRelief office in Al-Mahrah, pointed out the role played by the Yemani Foundation in improving the efficiency of orphans and their families through economic empowerment. The project aims to sponsor 150 orphans and empower 50 families in Al-Mahrah Governorate.
