  • King Salman Relief Center Signs Executive Program for Rehabilitation of Health Institute Building in Lahj

Source: Saba News Agency

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has signed a joint executive program with a civil society organization to rehabilitate the building of the Higher Institute of Health Sciences in Lahj Governorate.

The program includes furnishing the institute with appropriate office and medical furniture, and providing it with the necessary medical and educational equipment and supplies in the departments of dentistry, midwifery, nursing, and pharmacy. This aims to restore the institute’s leading role in qualifying health cadres and supplying hospitals with qualified health personnel, a role it played prominently in previous years.

This agreement is part of a series of humanitarian and relief projects implemented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to address the shortage in health institutions and centers in Yemen and equip them with all the basic medical materials and supplies to serve patients and the injured.
