As part of the project to distribute life-saving food aid to the affected population in Yemen for the year 2024, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed 1,411 food baskets in the districts of Hadibu and Qalansiyah in Socotra Governorate, benefiting 9,877 individuals. And 1,335 food baskets in the districts of al-Mawasit, al-Ma’afer, and al-Shamayatayn in Taiz Governorate and al-Hawta district in Lahij Governorate, benefiting 9,345 individuals, with a total of 1,335 families. And 1,382 food baskets in the districts of al-Dhale’e and al-Shu’ayb in al-Dhale’e Governorate and al-Buraiqeh district in Aden Governorate, benefiting 9,674 individuals with a total of 1,382 families. And 293 food baskets in al-Ghaydah district in al-Mahrah Governorate, benefiting 2,051 individuals with a total of 293 families. This comes within the framework of the Kingdom’s efforts represented by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre to support food security for the affected and needy groups in Yemen.
