The political leadership announced the initiation of procedures to establish two power plants in Hadhramaut Governorate with a capacity of 100 megawatts.
The political leadership, currently present in Hadhramaut, clarified that the project aims to establish one power plant in the coastal region of Hadhramaut and another in the valley, each with a capacity of 50 megawatts. The project is scheduled to be financed through cooperation between the government and local authorities.
This project comes within the framework of ongoing efforts to improve basic services in the governorate, despite the financial challenges it faces, including continuous attacks on vital facilities.
The leadership also emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation between the people of Hadhramaut and its political and civil components to achieve further accomplishments and provide a suitable environment for growth and stability.
In this context, the formation of a committee comprising various relevant entities was announced. This committee will visit Hadhramaut to identify its service and developmental priorities and work towards fulfilling the aspirations of its residents in various fields.
