The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) organized specialized training programs in the areas of active education and psychological support. It also conducted awareness activities for student councils in the districts of Tiban and Al-Hawtah in Lahj Governorate, benefiting 1,300 male and female teachers and 180 male and female students. These programs and activities were implemented, in cooperation with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), as part of the project to Support Yemeni Children’s Access to Quality Education.

A team from KSRelief also visited the training centers in the governorate, and expressed their admiration for the vital programs they offer, which contribute to the development of the educational system.

UNICEF Education Director in Yemen, Nour Shireen, explained that the training programs are of high importance to them. Such programs help raise the level of educational performance in the governorate. She also expressed her pride in the strategic partnership between UNICEF and KSRelief in the field of education.

This came within the framework of the humanitarian and relief projects provided by Saudi Arabia through KSRelief to improve the educational system in Yemen.
