The Local Water and Sanitation Corporation in Aden Governorate has recently received the site for the water network rehabilitation and expansion project in Al-Mansoura Directorate. This project falls under the framework of the Strengthening Institutional and Economic Resilience in Yemen (SIERY).

Implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) through the Yemen Aid organization and funded by the European Union, the project consists of the installation and disinfection of a 6,970-meter-long water network, the installation of 548 valve chambers with their accessories, 3,270 square meters of asphalt, stone, and interlocking paving, and the supply of valves and fittings along with the construction of rooms for the chambers.
