  • Completion of Al-Ashraf Well Rehabilitation Project in Majzar District, Ma’rib Governorate with UNHCR Funding

Source: YGUSSWP

With generous support from UNHCR, YGUSSWP has successfully implemented a Quick Impact Project aimed at rehabilitating a water well and installing a solar-powered water pumping system in Al-Ashraf area of Majzar district, Marib Governorate, providing clean water access for 525 individuals. By restoring a previously non-functional well and introducing sustainable solar energy for water pumping, the project addresses urgent water scarcity, improves daily health conditions, and reduces environmental impact.

The impact of this project extends beyond immediate water access; it empowers the community by enhancing their resilience against water-related challenges, promoting health and sanitation, and fostering environmental sustainability through the use of renewable energy.
