  • Al-Hikma Al-Yamania Association for Charity Launches Kuwaiti-Funded Project to Provide Dengue Fever Treatment in Abyan

With support from the Patients Helping Funding Society in Kuwait, the Al-Hikma Al-Yamania Association for Charity has launched a project aimed at treating dengue fever patients in the city of Zinjibar, located in the Abyan Governorate.
The project, operating under the slogan ‘Kuwait is by your Side,’ is being generously patronized by Dr. Qasim Mohammed Buhaibeh, the Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Mohammed Saeed Al-Za’ouri, the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, and Major General Abu Bakr Hussein Salem, the Governor of Abyan Governorate. The initiative is being carried out in coordination with the Public Health and Population Office in the governorate.
The primary objective of the project is to provide healthcare to over 1,500 medical cases in Al-Razi, Zinjibar, and Al-Mahfad hospitals. Dr. Shawqi Al-Sharjabi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Public Health and Population, emphasized the project’s significance in mitigating the risks posed by the epidemic dengue fever, which poses a threat to human lives. He also expressed his appreciation for the tangible contributions made by the Al-Hikma Al-Yamania Association for Charity in implementing numerous health sector projects at the governorate level. Furthermore, he extended his gratitude to the State of Kuwait for their generous support of these life-saving endeavors. Engineer Mohammed Abdulwase’a, the Secretary-General of the Al-Hikma Al-Yamania Association for Charity in Aden, conveyed his heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the State of Kuwait, the Emir, the government, and the people for their unwavering support, which has significantly alleviated the suffering of Yemenis.
