Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

With World Bank MENA funding, UNDP and its local partner, the Small and Micro Enterprise Promotion Service (SMEPS), are distributing micros grants to fishermen. This initiative is part of the Sustainable Fishery Development in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden (SFISH) project.

185 fishermen have received equipment in 5 areas in Al-Buriqa, Aden. This milestone follows business management training, empowering local communities for sustainable livelihoods.
