With support from the Government of Japan, UNESCO is enhancing disaster risk reduction and fostering community resilience in Yemen. This effort aims to ensure that communities and households are better protected, prepared and aware of Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) measures. The Government of Japan has been supporting UNESCO’s activities through various funding instruments and the experts’ technical contributions.
