Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

With Kuwaiti funding and in coordination with the Ministry of Public Health and Population, as well as the Health Office and Local Authority in Taiz Governorate, Altwasul for Human Development inaugurated the Al-Awadhi Maternity and Child Clinic in Taiz Governorate.
The clinic, equipped with the latest medical equipment and devices, has a capacity of 10 medical beds and will provide services to over 35,000 individuals.
The specialized clinic for mothers and children consists of two floors. The first floor includes the general emergency department, specialized clinics, a laboratory, and a pharmacy. The second floor comprises the inpatient department, delivery ward, breastfeeding room, and an operating room.
During the inauguration, Dr. Elan Abdulhaq, the Director of Taiz Health Affairs, praised the continuous efforts of the State of Kuwait in assisting the Yemeni people and implementing sustainable development projects to serve the citizens.
Dr. Imad Abdulrahim, the Deputy Chairman of Altwasul for Human Development, emphasized the crucial role that the clinic will play in alleviating the suffering of the residents in the health sector, by providing primary healthcare services for mothers and children.
