Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF) has provided funding for Humanitarian Access, which initiated the training program for the Integrated Response Project with the aim of enhancing essential services for the most vulnerable communities in the districts of Al-Madhfar, Al-Qahira, and Broom Mifaa in the governorates of Taiz and Hadhramout. This marks the beginning of project interventions and the delivery of high-quality essential services.
The training program encompasses the training of 80 health workers in ten targeted medical facilities in the directorates of Al-Madhfar and Al-Qahira in Taiz, focusing on the minimum package of health care services, prevention, infection control, epidemic response, and case management. Additionally, it involves the training of 40 volunteers in the cities of Taiz and Mukalla to raise community awareness of crucial life-saving messages.
