King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) Implements Braille Language Sessions for Visually Impaired in Aden, Hadhramaut, and Abyan Governorates
As part of a capacity development project and to provide education for illiterate students and individuals with disabilities, KSRelief has conducted individual sessions to teach the Braille language. A total of 88 students have benefited from these sessions, which amounted to 4,200 hours of instruction.
Notably, KSRelief has also distributed school desks to 323 visually impaired students in various schools across the Abyan and Hadhramaut governorates. Moreover, specialized educational materials for the Braille language, including math boards, writing papers, rulers, metal plates, and Braille printers, have been provided.
