The American Life for Relief and Development Organization has successfully delivered cash bail payments for two terms through its Yemen office. Moreover, it has distributed school bags to 400 orphans residing in Zinjibar and Khanfar districts of Abyan Governorate. Each orphan received a complete school bag along with a six-month allowance amounting to $210 ($35 per month).
Nazir Kandah, the organization’s coordinator in Abyan Governorate, commended the organization for their pivotal role and humanitarian interventions in alleviating the suffering of individuals exhausted by the devastating conflict.
It is important to note that the organization commenced the distribution of cash guarantees last February, covering nine months of dues. The ceremony took place at the Yemeni Women’s Union Hall in Abyan and was graced by the presence of esteemed officials.
